Hello everyone! I’ve been in bed and feeling out of this world for the last five days. Finally, I feel more energized today, and it makes me so happy! (I love to feel alive and strong – who doesn’t?). After three days of not leaving my apartment, I went for a short walk to the park in front of my apartment. The feeling of the sun getting into my body, taking a few deep breaths, smelling the ocean breeze, and the air touching my skin feels so good and grounding. It reminds me of the importance of spending time in nature every day. Even if it is 10 minutes, 1 hour, or half a day, whatever I can squeeze into my routine will help me be more centered and in tune with myself. I spent one hour under the sun, walking barefoot, staring at the bay, breathing fresh air, and connecting with nature in every single form. I am back home feeling centered, in tune with my feelings, my thoughts are calmer, and a sense of peace and happiness. And this is what I call the power of grounding.
